Hints and tips showing how to pass level 999 Candy Crush Soda Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 999 is classified as a hard level so don't expect to do it first try!
Level 999 took me quite a few goes before I managed to pass it and I used a lolly hammer in the end to complete it. Here are the best tips I can give.
Fish are the answer to this level, but not on their own, you will need to switch them with other special candies if they are to do any good.
Colour bombs with any other special candy will be useful, as will stripe/wrap combos. But if you can get a colour bomb/fish combo this will be best of all.
The fish won't always take the stripes and wraps where you want them to, so a bit of luck is needed, but nothing else will do the job.
When you can see where the bears are in the four corners you can use a colour bomb on whichever colour will give the most bears from the corners, either blue or yellow as these are the only 2 colours that drop into those sections.
It is especially important that you stop and think before you make moves on level 999 as every move counts.

Karen, you're either the luckiest person alive, or a lying hound.
Finally got it with a rainbow Kimmy early on then a color bomb+wrapped blue at the end. Wasn’t completely booster free
First try, too. However, I had double fish. Fish, fish, and more fish is the key.
