Hints and tips showing how to pass level 942 Candy Crush Soda Saga without boosters by Cookie
There are frosted bears in the bottom part of the board, under the black candy blockers, as well as the top part, so you need to clear the black candies as quickly as you can so you can begin clearing the frosting.
The blocker at the bottom left is preventing the candies from falling down into the bottom of the board once the black candies are gone so that will need clearing before you can really get started on the bottom.
But the real hard part of level 942 is getting rid of the black candies. You can't match next to them so you need to make either vertical stripes or stripe/wrap candies and try to hit the same ones every time to clear them quickest. Fish will often hit the black candies, but hardly ever the one that's ready to clear them all so you can't really rely on the fish.
Once the black candies are gone the candies will fillup from left to right and you can start to clear the frosting.

The game has been changed since this video was made. Now tafter the initial black blocks are cleared from the bottom more liquorice comes down the chute and it very hard to remove. It now feels like a boring waste of time to play endlessly in hopes of a lucky board.
Agreed with above. This is an insanely hard level that's no fun.
Even with a rainbow kimmy combo on the first move I can't get close. Played well over 100 times. Definitely not fun and boring just waiting until it lets you pass. Skill seems to mean nothing.
