Hints and tips showing how to pass level 871 Candy Crush Soda Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 871 Soda Saga is classified as a hard level so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
There is only one bear on the first part of the board, in the middle at the bottom, so that is the only square you need to clear.
There are 4 bears on the second part of the board and the rest are at the bottom, on the final section.
Like all levels with multiple boards you need to clear the first 2 with as few moves as possible, which means ONLY doing what you need to do which is uncovering the bears.
Use fish whenever possible as they will always target the squares containing bears.
Don't switch 2 fish together on the first board, use them singly as there is only one bear and if you switch 2 fish together 2 of the resulting fish will be wasted. Better to use them one at a time.
On the second and third sections you should switch the fish as there are more bears and all the fish will be useful.
The purple candies are there to be used, so look carefully for 4's and 5's in purple as these will make your job a lot easier.
I found that I didn't get many purples in most games, but if you can cause cascades you will get more purples falling.

level 871 soda saga ...I'm lucky if I get the 1st bear on the 1st board before I use up 20 moves..once that's done its real hard to do anything to even get the 3rd board..these herd levels are just boring when you play for a week or more...
