FISH! This is what you need to pass level 989 Soda Saga. Fish and more fish and as many fish as you can get.
While you are making the fish you will need to clear the blockers in the middle to give you space to work and also the blockers at the sides because that is where the soda bottles are hiding.
Don't worry about the bear, it can only move towards the candy string when there is soda on the board and the fish will clear the licorice which is holding it back once you get some soda filling up.
You can use other combos such as stripes and wraps etc. to clear the blockers and start to uncover the soda bottles, but fish will always be the most helpful for getting those bottles that you are not able to match.
Once you have soda on the board matching in it will bring up the bear, but if you can't get all the soda bottles you won't be able to get the bear up so no point wasting moves trying to move the bear if there is no soda above the string.
