Hints and tips showing how to pass level 979 Candy Crush Soda Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 979 Soda Saga is classified as a hard level so be prepared to be there for a while.
You need to collect 26 honey bears on 2 boards, although the second board is just a couple of rows below what you can see at the start.
Clear the first board as quickly as possible using stripes and stripe/wrap combos. If you can make colour bomb combos better still.
The second board is in theory simpler as almost all the bears are in a line along the bottom of the board so using fish switched with sideways strips will clear a layer of honey from the whole line in one move.
You will get very close many times before the lucky board comes along and gives you the useful patterns for the combos you need.
Work as close to the bottom as you can but it is more important than ever that you check higher up the board for combos as it's easy to be concentrating on the honey at the bottom and miss the best moves higher up.

This is so hard and not enough moves....tired of playing these kinds of levels that seem damn near impossible

I'm in the same boat as you. I really shouldn't use any boosters, but I may have to. I'm on level 1287 on candy crush saga, but for some unknown reason, this soda slows me down considering I started both games on the same day one and a half years ago.
