The jam starts off in the middle above all the cupcake blockers, but it isn't too hard to spread so you can forget about it to begin with and work on clearing the blockers.
Matches of three won't do the job, you need some powerful combos to wipe out the blockers.
There are some stripes hidden under the blockers, switch them with a wrap or colour bomb if you can to give more power to the combo.
Colour bombs are not hard to make so look for them every move and switch with another special, but don't waste a lot of moves trying to get combos together, if you can't get a combo together within a move or two just use the colour bomb on a single colour and it may give you more colour bomb patterns by taking away a colour.
