As in all bubblegum levels, fish will be very useful as they will always tyarget the bubblegum.
There is no need to clear all the blockers as there is no bubblegum under them, but you will need to clear some to give you more space to work.
Stripe/wrap combos are one of the best combo's for clearing bubblegum, but any special candy switched with a fish will be helpful.
It can be hard to see the colours and patterns when the candies are covered in bubblegum so be sure to take your time and look carefully at the board before every move.
Work as close to the bottom as you can to take advantage of any cascades caused by the candies filling in after moves.
