Hints and tips showing how to pass level 1229 Candy Crush Soda Saga without boosters by Cookie
Level 1229 Soda Saga is classified as a hard level, so you can expect to lose a few lives before you manage to pass it.
You have 30 moves to collect 15 frosted bears to complete the level.
Some of the bears are fairly easy to find as they are in the top half of the board, but the ones in the bottom part of the board are the hardest to collect, so this is where you will need to concentrate on clearing.
Don't worry too much about the black candy blockers, they will be cleared as you work on making special candies and combos to fire into the bottom part of the board where the thickest cupcake blockers are.
From the first moves you need to be looking for chances to make colourbombs, wraps and colouring candies to switch together.
Fish are only useful if switched with a colourbomb or colouring candy so don't waste moves making them, look for other moves first.
The obvious, though not easy, way to clear level 1229 is to make a Rainbow Kimmy, this will clear most of the blockers and just leave you with a bit of clearing up.
But since the Rainbow Kimmy is difficult you will just have to rely on the most powerful combos you can make.
Stripe/wrap combos are good, as are colourbomb/stripe or colourbomb/wrap combos.
There are five colours on the board so it isn't hard to make special candies and combos, so look carefully for chances to make them before every move.
As you work your way down the board play as low down as you can to take advantage of cascades created when the candies drop, but remember to check the rest of the board too.
