The first thing to do is clear some of the peppermint sticks, this will get the jam onto the main playing area.
The quickest way to get jam onto the playing area is to clear one of the side and one of either the top or bottom peppermint sticks, this will hit some of the jam squares twice and get the jam moving.
Once the jam is on the board get it spreading and the other peppermint sticks will be cleared as you spread the jam.
Try to work near the bottom as this will cause cascades which hopefully will hit more than one peppermint stick with one move and spread the most jam at the same time.
It isn't easy to make special candies as there are 6 colours on the board so you will have to play carefully and don't miss any chances to make those specials and combos.
