Try to clear the licorice on the right side of the board first using stripes or stripe/wrap combos as this will allow you to make matches on that side. The pink fish hidden in the bottom part of the board will also target the licorice.
The bear is on the right side of the board, usually down near the bottom, so this is where you need to concentrate on clearing most.
Work as close to the bottom of the board as you can to take advantage of the cascades caused by your moves.
