First you need to work your way down to the bottom of the board where the jam starts, then use stripes and fish to get the jam moving.
The best way to complete level 1076 is to fill up the middle part of the board with jam as quickly as possible, this will force the fish to take jam into the separate squares outside the playing area.
Switch a fish with a vertical stripe for the best result.
Colour bombs switched with a stripe or a fish will also work well.
Think about your moves and work as close to the bottom of the board as you can so you can take advantage of the cascades.

Easy if you have double fish. Else use the horizontal stripes to get the side squares.
