The jam starts off in the middle square under the licorice, so you will have to make a match next to it to enable you to begin spreading the jam.
Get the jam spreading a little, then forget it for a while and concentrate on making special candies and combos to hit the blockers in the left side of the board.
Stripe/wrap combos are good as they will clear cupcake blockers as well as help to clear the black candies.
Once you can make moves in the left side work as close to the bottom as you can as cascades will do a lot of the work for you. Don't forget to look carefully at both sides of the board as it's easy to miss good moves if you just concentrate on clearing blockers. Once the blockers are starting to clear you should check how much jam you need and get that spreading as you clear the remainder of the blockers. It doesn't take many moves to spread the jam so don't be put off if you are getting low on moves. I managed to make a colour bomb/stripe combo at the end which finished off the jam for me.
