Hints and tips showing how to pass level 589 Soda Saga without boosters.
Forget about the jam to begin with, you need to clear some of the blockers first.
First look at the bottom left of the board, you will see a striped candy, hit that with another stripe and it will clear all the black candies from the top part of the board. There is no need to keep hitting the black candies, that will save you a lot of moves.
Next work on clearing the frosted blockers from the top and bottom left of the board. You will get a lot of striped candies falling from the dispenser top left, so if you make matches under there it will give you another advantage. Switch these stripes together to clear the frosting top right next to the jelly cake. Fish will help with clearing the jelly cake as well as the frosted blockers so use them as much as possible, especially switched together. Purple candy fish are especially good.
You will need to use the purple candies as much as possible, so be looking for getting them into position as they will clear a lot of frosting and also spread a lot of jam once you start to spread it.
Once you are down to around 15 moves you should begin to spread the jam if you haven't already got it moving. Fish switched in the jam will carry it around and purple candies are especially useful for spreading jam.
